Westward Ho!

 

We did it! Here's a pic of us getting a very late start after getting about 4 hours of sleep the night before. We were exhausted before driving mile 1, but that didn't matter. We were finally on our way.

I'm writing now from Michigan City, Indiana, after a great day at Indiana Dunes. We're actually sitting in the car eating Baskin Robbins ice cream because, when's the last time you actually had Baskin Robbins?

I'll write more about how we got from there to here, but this is my first time trying to blog from my phone, and I want to see how it looks before I go all in. Until next time. (Note:tried to post this yesterday but no dice. Working out the mobile kinks).
